MANSFIELD, CT - A 22-year-old man reportedly suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a car on Route 195 in Mansfield early Sunday.
It was before 3 a.m., when the victim, identified as Christopher Pineda, was struck by a northbound vehicle in the area of the intersection of East Road, according to WTNH. The driver of the car attempted to stop but struck Pineda and that vehicle was then rear-ended by the car behind it.
Pineda was taken to Windham Hospital then transported by Life Star to St. Francis Hospital, according to the report.
