
An Oak Grove Montessori Elementary and Preschool student was recently recognized as a winner of the 5th Annual Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) Dream Big! Competition.
Sarah Ney, a kindergartner, was awarded a $300 contribution to a Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) direct-sold 529 college savings plan, according to a news release.
State Treasurer Denise L. Nappier, Trustee for CHET, said it was challenging to pick this year's winners.

“We were impressed with the heartfelt essays and expressive artwork that our talented young entrants produced for this year’s competition," she said in a prepared statement.
