Report: Man Displayed Gun During Argument at Mansfield Hollow State Park

The incident was reported to police to have occurred at 4:37 p.m. on Monday, June 10.

Connecticut State Police are currently investigating a June 10 incident at Mansfield Hollow State Park in which a man is reported to have exposed the handle of a black pistol in his waistband during a "minor verbal argument," with a complainant, according to a police report.

The incident is reported to have taken place off of Bassetts Bridge Road in the area of the picnic tables and volleyball court, police said.

The man is described as a white, lanky male, standing 6'1" and weighing approximately 175 pounds, according to a police report. He is reported to have tattoo sleeves on both forearms and a possible goatee, according to police.

At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a dark T-shirt, dark jeans and a black flat-brimmed cap with a logo, according to a police report.

The complainant told police that the man was standing in between two vehicles: a late 1980s grey possible Pontiac Grand Am with unknown plates, and a late 1980s maroon possible Toyota Corolla with unknown plates, police said.
