MANSFIELD, CT — A scooter driver received a written warning after she collided with a car near E.O. Smith High School last week, state police said.

It was 5:35 p.m. on Oct. 20 when an 82-year-old Columbia in a 2012 Mustang man was stopped at a stop sign at the school driveway, according to a crash report.

As the man attempted to turn left onto Storrs Road, a 20-year-old Bridgeport woman on a scooter came along and hit the Mustang's front bumper, according to a crash report. The woman had a minor injury, but refused medical attention at the scene, according to a crash report.

State police then gave her a written warninbg for faulure to grant the right of way, according to a crash report.
