Soda Truck Pops Parked SUV In Storrs Center: State Police
A tractor-trailer hit a parked vehicle in Storrs Center, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — A tractor-trailer hit a parked sport utility vehicle in Storrs Center, state police said.
Troopers released a report on the Christmas Eve incident this week.
According to a crash report, at 8:05 a.m., a 2022 Hyundai Tucson was legally parked in a space on the right shoulder on Royce Circle. Along came a tractor-trailer carrying soda that was heading north, according to a crash report.

The driver, a 62-year-old Killingly man, was making a "wide left turn" onto Bolton Road Extension and the tailer veered to the right and hit the Hyundai, according to a crash report. It was left with "functional damage," state police said.
