Spring Has Arrived! Time to Visit the Storrs Farmers Market!
Say good-bye to dreary winter and hello to great local produce this spring!
With the long and harsh winter season finally over, there are many Connecticut residents celebrating the official return of spring this Wednesday, March 20!
And while spring brings many great changes to Mansfield, the warmer weather will also give residents more of a reason to visit the Storrs Farmers Market, run every second and fourth Saturday through April from 3-5 p.m. at the Mansfield Public Library.
And beginning in May, Saturdays 3-6 p.m. in the Mansfield Town Hall parking lot.

"Storrs Farmers Market is a certified farmers market, which means that everything at the Market is grown or produced here in Connecticut," reads a statement on the market's Web site. "In fact, the average distance from farm to Market is just 12 miles!"
