Thirsty Thieves Pull Off Beer Heists In Mansfield
Mansfield Resident State Troopers Are looking for suspects in a pair of beer heists.

MANSFIELD, CT — The Mansfield Resident State Trooper's Office looking for suspects involved in two Price Chopper shoplifting incidents involving mostly cheap beer.
According to state police, on April 6, at approximately 9:15 p.m. two college-aged men entered the store then exited at approximately 9:20 p.m. with five, 30 packs of Natural Ice beer, valued at $29.99 each for a total of $149.95. The suspects, pictured below in a collage released by state police from surveillance images, were seen exiting the store and making no attempt to pay, authorities said.
They rushed to a black sedan that was waiting in the parking lot, state police said.

On April 12, at approximately 4:25 p.m., a college-aged male entered the store then exited at approximately 4:30 p.m. with six 30 packs of Coors Light beer, valued at $29.99 each for a total of $179.94. The suspect was seen exiting the store making no attempt to pay and rushing to a silver sedan waiting in the parking lot. He is pictured atop the surveillance collage.
