Tree Debris Pickup Planned along State-Maintained Roads
The state DOT will remove tree-debris left from the October Nor'easter.

Property owners on state roads or abutting state-maintained roads can place brush five feet from the edge of the state roads to be picked up within days or weeks, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
The state developed the Debris Management Program to quicken the tree debris pickup process for major storms like the October 2011 snowstorm.
Residents should not place debris near utility poles, wires, fire hydrants, mailboxes or overhanging trees. Pickup will run through Dec. 15. A schedule will be posted soon.
