Purse-Snatching Reported, Victim Dragged: Milford Police
Police said several vehicles were stolen and vandalized across the city of Milford.

May 18
- A Hyundai Tucson stolen in West Haven was located on Old Gate Lane, police said.

- A vehicle was gone through on Laurel Avenue, police said.
- A vehicle was gone through on Broadway, police said.
- A Hyundai had the window smashed out at Whole Foods. Nothing was taken, police said.
- Air Pods and clothing were taken from a Toyota Avalon on Bridgeport Avenue, police said.
- A theft of air conditioners from Stop and Shop on East Town Road, police said.
- A burglary was reported on Robert Treat Drive, police said.
- Backpack blowers were stolen overnight from Ford Street and Edgemont Park, police said.
- A vehicle was gone through on Stowe Avenue, police said.
- A man was charged with a DUI, a minor accident on 90 New Haven Ave., police said.
May 20
- A Ford F-550 Super Duty Dump Truck was stolen from a Quarry Road Business, police said.
- A catalytic converter was stolen from a Hyundai XG350 on Foxwood Close, police said.
- Catalytic converter was stolen from a Hyundai Elantra on Foxwood Close, police said.
- A Ford Escape was stolen from Castle Lane, police said.
- A theft from a vehicle in Marino Drive was reported, police said.
- Purse snatching at Adams Plaza was reported, police said. The victim was dragged by the offending vehicle, police said. The suspects grabbed the victim’s purse while driving and never exited the vehicle, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
- A man was charged for leaving a six and nine-year-old in a vehicle while shopping at Costco, police said.
- Damage to the ignition of a car on Barton Road was reported, police said.
- A woman was charged following a domestic violence incident on Orland Street, police said.
- Overdose at the Mayflower Motel was reported. The person was administered Narcan by a friend and was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.
- A woman was charged for evading responsibility after an accident and is accused of fleeing the scene on Robert Treat Drive, police said.

- A car fire at village auto sales was reported. An investigation is ongoing, police said.
- A Chevy Tahoe stolen in Monroe was recovered on Tower Plaza. A second stolen vehicle from Bridgeport was located near the Tahoe, police said.
- A man was charged with BOP and assault of a police officer on Breakneck Lane after he is accused of biting two officers, police said.
May 22
- A Hyundai Sonata was stolen from Center Street and later recovered in West Haven, police said.
- A Dodge Ram pickup had the window smashed and steering column damaged on Research Drive, police said.
- A Ford E-45 U-Hall Truck was stolen from another town and was recovered on Research Drive, police said.
- A 17-year-old was seriously injured when he struck his head after attempting a wheelie on a dirt bike on East Broadway and Shea Avenue, police said. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.
May 23
- A Hyundai Santa Fe was stolen with the keys on Overton Avenue, police said.
- A Honda Civic was stolen from Blackball Road. The vehicle hit a garage on Beach Avenue when reversing. The suspects jumped into an SUV and fled, police said.
- A Hyundai was stolen on Lance Lane, police said.
