City of Milford Holds Veterans Day Parade
The Veteran's Day Parade takes place Sunday, November 6.

From the Veterans, Ceremony and Parade Commission:
MILFORD, CT - The City of Milford will be hosting their Veteran’s Day Parade on Sunday, November 6th, 2016. All units and marchers are asked to assemble at the Daniel Wasson Field parking lot at 1 p.m.
Our Grand Marshall and Guest Speaker will be Aleks Morosky, who serves as the National Legislative
Director for the Military Order of the Purple Heart in Washington DC, where he is responsible for
communicating the Order’s legislative agenda to members of the United States Congress, federal departments
and agencies, and the nation-wide veterans’ community. Aleks is a proud life-member of VFW Post 7788 here
in Milford.

To continue your celebration of our Veterans and their service with a little musical entertainment,
immediately following the parade (approximately 3pm) at City Hall, the Milford Concert Band will perform
their "Milford, Veterans of Service" concert.
The City of Milford’s Veteran’s Day Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held on Friday, November 11th, 2016 in front of City Hall at 10:45am. All are invited to attend this short but moving ceremony.
