Fireworks Near Me: Milford July 4th Events 2023

MILFORD, CT — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Milford for 2023.

Milford’s Annual Kick Off To Summer Fireworks are held before July 4; this year, they are scheduled for Saturday, June 24, at Lisman Landing.

Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m., but festivities will begin at 4 p.m. with a rain date on July 7.

Those festivities include food trucks and live music from Sapphire from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Rum Runners from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Admission is free, and there’s going to be free shuttles available to take people to and from downtown Milford.

• Independence Day Concert and Fireworks on July 2 at the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Rd. Concert time starts at 6:30 p.m., and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The rain date is set for July 9.
• Stratford Fireworks on June 30 at Short Beach Park at 9 p.m. The rain date is set for July 5.
