Fugitive From Justice Found in Milford: Police
The man is wanted in Alabama and is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
On Oct. 21, the Milford Police Department received an alert that a fugitive wanted in Alabama was staying at the Milford Inn.
Dennis Dewitt, 53, of Garfield Avenue in Bridgeport, is wanted in Alabama for larceny and failure to appear charges, police said. Officers located Dewitt and charged him with being a fugitive from justice.
Dewitt is scheduled to be arraigned in Connecticut on Oct. 22. He was held on $100,000 bond.
