Attempted Carjacking Reported In Milford: Police
Police shared several incidents across Milford, including paintballs fired from a white van, a shoplifting incident and vehicles vandalized.

June 12
- A man was charged following a domestic violence incident on Carlson Drive, police said.
- A man was charged on a warrant from a DUI in April, police said.
- A man was charged following a domestic violence incident on Drexel Road, police said.
- Paintballs were fired from a white van. The vehicle fled, police said.
- A pedestrian was struck on West Avenue. The pedestrian received treatment for minor injuries, police said.

- A man was charged following a domestic violence incident on Ruth Ann Terrace, police said.
- A theft from a vehicle on Hill Street was reported, police said.
- Cars were rifled through on Ard Street, police said.
- A pedestrian was struck on Welches Point Road. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for serious injuries, police said.
- A scam was reported on Wheelers Farm Road, police said.
- A vehicle was taken from a burglary in Milford and was recovered in Middletown, police said.
June 14
- A man was charged on a warrant stemming from a BOP incident in May, police said.
- A man was charged on a warrant following a domestic violence incident on June 6, police said.
- A man was charged with shoplifting at Boscov’s, police said. He also was a fugitive from justice from New York City, police said.
- A theft from a vehicle on Swift Street was reported, police said.
- A man turned himself in on an active warrant for probation violation, police said.
- A wallet was stolen from a vehicle while at the pumps at Woodmont Shell station, police said.
- An attempted carjacking at 1 Railroad Avenue was reported around 6:15 a.m., police said. According to police, men in a vehicle approached the victim. One man exited the car and simulated a weapon in their pocket, police said. They told the victim to give them their keys, or they would shoot them, police said. The victim got away, and the men fled in the vehicle, police said. Officers spotted the vehicle, attempted to stop it on I-95, and were unsuccessful, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
