Karen Fortunati Seeking 3rd Term As Milford City Clerk

MILFORD, CT – Karen Fortunati has decided to run for a third term as Milford’s City Clerk in the upcoming November election.

“I’m seeking another term because I love serving Milford,” Fortuanti said via a prepared statement. “It’s my mission to continually improve customer service so that every interaction with the City Clerk’s Office is efficient, easy and enjoyable.”

Through the statement, Fortunati said her office serves as both the information hub of a city government and a repository of city records.

“The position is a perfect fit for me, drawing extensively from my experience as a lawyer, author and public programs manager,” Fortuanti stated.

Fortuanti was first elected as city clerk in 2019.

“I have made services more accessible to the busy parent and working professional by creating online applications for certificates and licenses,” she stated.

Fortuanti said she’s happy to assist in person in the office or by mail for those who aren't comfortable on the computer.

“We welcome any and all questions,” she stated. “My Motto: If we don’t have the answer, we’ll help you find it.”

“Thank you for the honor of serving these past two terms, and I humbly ask for your consideration in November,” Fortuanti stated.
