Milford Church: Donations Needed For Restorations

MILFORD--The famous windows in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church are in need of a makeover and the parish is hoping churchgoers and history buffs near and far will help.

The 252-year-old Milford church is raising funds to preserve the famous stained glass windows it has become known for, The Milford Mirror reports.

Tourists from across the country have come to view and photograph the stunning, historical windows, the Rev. Cynthia Knapp told the Mirror.

The colorful, stained glass windows include three created by Tiffany Studios of New York between 1878 and 1933. The oldest were created in 1851, the Mirror reports.
