- Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Dr., will be open Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Beth-El Soup Kitchen, 90 New Haven Ave., will be open Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Rosen said residents should limit outdoor activity to the morning and evening and check in on friends and family members most vulnerable to heat-related illness. Also, pets who cannot be brought indoors should have ready access to water and shade.
