Man Assaults Security At Popular Downtown Eatery: Milford Police

Milford Police Department officials said the man was charged with 3rd-degree assault and 2nd-degree breach of peace.

MILFORD, CT – Milford Police Department said a Milford man assaulted security staff at Stonebridge Café after they asked him to leave.

On Saturday, May 27, around 10:50 p.m., Christopher Bier, 34, was a patron at Stonebridge Café and was asked to leave by security staff for inappropriate conduct toward other patrons, police said.

Police officials said Bier was asked to leave repeatedly, and he refused to do so.

Security staff escorted Bier off the property, where he assured them, police said.

Bier was charged with 3rd Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Breach of Peace, police said.

Police officials said Bier was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on June 27.
