Milford Native's Movie Featuring Many Local Hot Spots and Residents

Milford native's new movie features many local spots and residents in film.

MILFORD--Milford's famous native Christy Romano Rooney's new movie is showing Milford and its residents a lot of love.

The Christmas-themed movie, called Christmas All Over Again, uses props and locations throughout the city. It also features some Milford residents, according to The Milford Mirror.

According to IMDb, the movie’s plot is about “A mischievous, swag-obsessed boy must overcome his inner Scrooge, or remain caught in a cycle where everyday is a Christmas without presents.”

Romano is one of the city’s most well-known native. She starred on the Disney Channel shows Even Stevens and was the voice of Kim Possible.

The Milford Mirror reports that the new movie used Rich Conine's house to film scenes along with the city's downtown green and the Corner Restaurant on River Street.

Residents Patrick Cleary, his wife, Lori, and his sons had small roles in the movie, according to The Milford Mirror.
