Beloved Milford Pizzeria Closes Its Doors For Good
"We have been a staple in Milford for 32 years, and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of all of you," the owners wrote.

MILFORD, CT — After 32 years of making pizza for the community, Franco’s Pizza announced its last day was July 26, according to its website and via a post on its Facebook page.
“As you all know, the last three years have been very difficult for all of us. We have decided it would be in our best interest to close the business at the end of the month and start a new chapter,” Franco’s Pizza stated via Facebook.
According to its website, Franco’s Pizza opened in 1991 at 44464 River St. In 2019, Franco’s Pizza closed its 4464 River St. location and two months later opened its current location at 11 Berwyn St.

“We have been a staple in Milford for 32 years, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all of you,” Franco’s Pizza wrote on Facebook.
The Facebook post has gathered 127 comments from people saying how much they loved the pizza to wishing them well in their next chapter.

“We can’t thank all of you enough for the 30-plus years of support. It truly means the world to us,” Franco’s Pizza wrote on Facebook.
One patron wrote on the social media post: "So sorry to hear this but hope you succeed in whatever you choose to do. We started getting your folks’ pizza when you were in Milford Ctr about 15 yrs ago, the best we have ever had in town. We still have you on speed dial. Hope we get at least one more before you close."
