How did you come up with the name?

It’s my first name.

Why start a business in this town?

I grew up in Milford and have lived here my whole life. I seemed the best place to start my business.

Briefly, what business are you in?

Automotive Repair.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

The biggest challenge in my business is keeping up with the never ending technology my trade requires. My staff and I are constantly attending seminars to keep up with the never ending changes in automobiles.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

My proudest moment was Purchasing and moving into my new building in 2007.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

Mattie’s Service Center sponsors many youth sport organizations, Mattie’s usually sponsors several youth baseball and softball teams each year.We also have been the one of the primary sponsors for “Jordan’s Ride” since the 1st annual ride and continue to do so every year. This year we also donated and sponsored Shawna Winter’s race car who is a student here in Milford.
