How did you come up with the name?

My name is Rick and I wanted to sound like a small business which I am.

Why start a business in this town?

Because this is where I live.

Briefly, what business are you in?

I do chimney sweeping, I also install liners, caps, and dampers.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced since being a business owner?

Because the business is just me, in the fall, which is my busy season, it sometimes gets challenging keeping up with all the phone calls and paperwork and at the same time doing all the jobs, not too mention keeping my own house in order.

What been you favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening the business?

When I go to a job and the homeowner is all frustrated because he can’t get his fireplace to work well and I am able to figure out what the problem is and give him some tips to help out and I return next year and he is all happy and said the fireplace worked great!

How does your business get involved or give back to the community?

I like to try and donate what I can when someone in the community is having a fundraiser.
