MILFORD, CT – Before the Milford Board of Education meeting on Monday, June 12, for Milford Public Schools to hire an individual, they were required to have the COVID-19 vaccination; after the Board of Education meeting, the vaccination is no longer necessary.
“This is a policy I’m sure everyone will be happy to rescind,” Dr. Anna Cutaia said, superintendent of schools. “That is the requirement for COVID-19 vaccination for hire for employment.”
The Board Policy “Required COVID-19 Vaccination” was first approved by the Milford Board of Education on Oct. 11, 2021.
