Obituary: Dawn A. Onze, 56, of Milford
Dawn, a loving and devoted wife and friend to many, worked as a pharmacy technician at Stop and Shop for many years.
MILFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Dawn A. Onze, age 56, of Milford, beloved wife of Thomas Onze, passed away on April 9, 2022, in Milford Hospital.
Dawn was born in Bridgeport on February 6, 1966, to the late Fred and Elizabeth (Zaleta) DiGiacomo and had been a lifelong area resident.
She was a graduate of Bunnell High School class of 1984 and was retired from Stop and Shop where she worked as a pharmacy technician.
Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 29 years, include her devoted brother, David DiGiacomo and his husband, Jason Barcomb, mother and father-in-law, Leo and Janet Onze, sister-in-law, Cathy Zasciurinskas and her husband Tom, niece, Susan Francis and her husband Kevin, and great-nephew, Matthew.
In addition to her parents, Dawn was pre-deceased by her cherished son, Mark.
Dawn’s family would like to thank her longtime nurse, Dorothy Franco, Joan Peters who helped keep her house “tidy” and dear neighbor, Donna Straub.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 23rd at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford. Interment will be private.
A visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:30am - 10:30am at the church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
