Obituary: Irene Frances Lewis, 93, of Milford
Irene was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Irene Frances Lewis, 93, of Milford, beloved wife of the late David Lewis, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Born on April 16, 1928 in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie Ziemba.
Irene leaves behind her son, Mark (Lisa) Fox; granddaughters, Ashley and Nicole Fox; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Nevaeh Cortez; and extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her six siblings and grandchildren, Crystal and Fallon Fox.
A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2022 on 10:00 a.m. at the Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CEMETERY).
The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
