Obituary: Lynn E. George, 79, of Milford
Lynn was a member of the Ansantawae Masonic Lodge #89 and retired lineman with Connecticut Light & Power, as well as Rogers' Towing Service.

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Lynn E. George, 79, of Milford, beloved husband of fifty years to Rosemarie (Franco) George, passed away on March 20, 2022. Born on February 2, 1943 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Franklyn and Valarie George.
Lynn attended Milford High School and was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Marines. He was a retired lineman with Connecticut Light & Power and also Rogers’ Towing Service. Lynn was a 48-year member of the Ansantawae Masonic Lodge #89.
His hobbies included analyzing the stock market, politics, and day trading. He was most passionate about his family, and especially enjoyed being a loving and doting poppy to his six grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife, Rosemarie, Lynn is survived by his children, Craig (Bonnie) George, Todd (Heather) George, and Michele (Zeke) Haramis; his grandchildren, Zane, Travis, Johnny, Sadie, Rainey, and Dylan; and his siblings, Richard George and Valarie Johnson (Allan). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Lynn’s family would like to thank Dr. Wong, Dr. Gupta, Dr. Lee, and Nurse Lynn, among others, for the great treatment provided. The in-home care allowed Lynn to be comfortable during his final months.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Friday, March 25, 2022, 10:30 a.m., at First United Church of Christ Congregational, 34 West Main Street, Milford, CT. Interment will be private.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
