She loved bowling, especially in a league, for many years. The most pleasure of all was helping take care of her Granddaughter Megan. She enjoyed their trips to the beach, picking her up from school, many sleepovers, trips to Carvel on Wednesdays, their shopping trips which always concluded with a stop at Starbucks, and overall, just spending time with Megan.

She enjoyed watching baseball, cheering on the Yankees and Mets, football, Giants and Jets, and Golf. Siggi and Carl enjoyed taking many Cruises to the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and Hawaii.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Carl; devoted daughter, Lori, and her husband, Ed; granddaughter, Megan; brother, Rainer; niece, Jessica and nephew, Erich; longtime friend since 2nd grade and Lori's godmother, Luule Suozzi, and many, many friends.

Mom will be remembered as sweet, thoughtful, funny, supportive, always there for her family and friends, and a special lady who will be dearly missed.

Her family would like to thank Dr. Zhao Lu of Oncology Hematology Care of Connecticut and the entire staff for their care and support over the years.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St.
