Preservationists Opposing Milford Cooking School's Move
Local preservationists voicing opposition to school's proposed move.
MILFORD--The debate over a Hamden cooking school's proposal to move to the old Stowe Barn is heating up.
One group of local preservationists is lobbying against The Fig Cooking School of Hamden moving into the historic, empty barn at 68 Stowe Ave., The New Haven Register reports.
The group, part of Milford Citizens to Save Stowe Park in Walnut Beach, wants to see the city-owned barn preserved as an agriculture museum, The Register reports.
