July 13
- An attempted theft of cooking oil from Lasse’s Restaurant was reported, police said.

- A victim was placing items in their vehicle in the PETCO parking lot when a suspect attempted to snatch their purse from a vehicle, police said. The victim resisted, and the suspect exited the vehicle and punched them in the face. The suspect fled. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
- A vehicle was stolen from Woodmont Road and recovered unoccupied in Orange, police said.
July 15
- A vehicle was stolen from Centennial Drive and recovered unoccupied in Plainville, police said.
- A man and woman were charged with shoplifting that turned into a robbery at Macy’s when the man pulled a knife, police said. Both were located a short distance away. Parole issued a remand to custody order for the man, police said.
