Purse Snatchers Use Stolen Vehicle To Flee Parking Lot: Milford Police

July 3

• Two women were charged after a domestic violence incident on Meadows Road, police said.
• A vehicle crashed into a house on Spring Street, police said.
• A theft from a purse in a shopping cart in the lot of Stop and Shop on East Town Road was reported. The vehicle fled and is believed to be stolen out of New Haven. An investigation is ongoing, police said.
• A theft of a purse from a vehicle while the victim was outside the car in the lot of Walmart was reported. The suspects fled, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
• A vehicle stolen out of Norwalk was recovered unoccupied at 147 Broad St., police said.

July 4

• A woman was charged with a DUI after a crash at 581 Boston Post Rd., police said.
• A vehicle stolen from Madison was recovered around North Street and Plymouth Place after two suspects ran from it. The suspects were not located, police said.
• A vehicle was rifled through on Orchard Road, police said.
• A woman was charged with shoplifting at Walmart, police said.
• A wallet was taken from a cart while shopping at Costco, police said.
• A stolen vehicle was recovered on Seaside Avenue, police said.
• A pedestrian was struck on Broadway and Park Avenue, police said.

July 5

• A woman was charged after a domestic violence incident on Mariners Walk, police said.
• A man turned himself in on an active domestic violence arrest warrant, police said.
• A man turned himself in on an active DUI arrest warrant, police said.
• A man was charged for a warrant stemming from a sexual assault in 2019-2021, police said.
• A stolen vehicle was recovered on Plains Road, police said.
• A stolen vehicle was recovered on Rivercliff Drive, police said.
• An attempted theft of a vehicle on Lookout Hill Road was reported, police said.
• A person was trying to enter a vehicle on Manilla Avenue, police said.
• A stolen vehicle was recovered on Robert Treat Drive, police said.
• Damage to a vehicle parked in the Eisenhower parking lot was reported, police said.
