Reckless Driver Taken Into Custody In Milford After Many 911 Calls: PD

State Troopers said they were notified that they had received numerous 911 calls regarding a reckless driver during rush hour in Milford.

MILFORD, CT — A Massachusetts woman has been charged with reckless driving and operating under the influence while traveling on I-95 near Exit 35 in Milford, Connecticut State Police said.

On Monday, July 31, around 6:37 p.m., Troopers were notified by Troop G Dispatchers they had received numerous 911 calls regarding a Honda Accord driving recklessly, police said.

The driver, later identified as Nina Marie Fish, 37, of Dorchester, Mass., was seen by Department of Transportation cameras almost striking other vehicles, state police said.

Troopers observed the Honda Accord traveling at a. high rate of speed and failing to maintain its lane on I-95 Northbound in the area of Exit 35, state police said.

Troopers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and administered a Standardized Field Sobriety Test on Fish, state police said.

Troopers charged Fish with a DUI, and her vehicle was searched, where two baggies of cocaine were obtained, state police said.

Fish was taken into custody and charged with the use of drug paraphernalia, operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and reckless driving, state police said.

Fish posted the $5,000 cash/surety bond set by the deputy supervisor and is scheduled to appear at Milford Superior Court on Aug. 22.
