Why start a business in this town?

I moved to Milford in 2007 while receiving my doctorate from the University of Bridgeport. I knew immediately Milford would be my forever home. It only made sense to practice and open an office in the beautiful town I enjoyed so much.

Briefly, what business are you in?

I’m a chiropractor who helps individuals achieve their full potential.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

I’m currently going through a process of relocation due to the new parking structure being built where my office currently resides. With so much being unknown at this point, it is difficult for me to plan long term for changes I have no control over.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

Every day I see the benefits chiropractic treatment gives my patients; and for me that is pure joy. From infants to the elderly, chiropractic care has a place in everyone’s life.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

‘Getting Involved’ is a main component of CWC’s mission statement. I am currently the secretary of the Downtown Milford Business Association and a member of Milford’s Health and Wellness Council. The Chiropractic & Wellness Center has sponsored a stop on the Milford Wine Trail for the past two years (an event which benefits two local non-profit organizations every year), a team for the Literacy Center’s Leprechaun Leap and have an ongoing partnership with the Milford Prevention Council. Affiliating myself with these organizations has allowed me to not only give back but also create relationships with the wonderful families of Milford.
