How did you come up with the name?
The name was actually my husband’s idea taken from a line out of a Lady Gaga song called “Edge of Glory.” Not only for its relevancy to cherishing portrait photography but also its double meaning in our commitment to success of my company. It was because of his unyielding support that it all became possible in the first place. “I’m on the edge of glory, and I’m hanging on a moment with you.”

What business are you in?
We are a photography studio specializing in weddings, portraits and newborns. We are in the business of capturing memories.
What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
Running a successful photography business in a world where everyone has a camera on their phone takes an unprecedented amount of dedication and perseverance to the craft. My job is not to convince someone they need a professional photographer to take their photos, my job is to give them something unique of the highest quality that is worth saving for and investing in; something that will not be thrown away when the phone breaks or when the hard-drive dies!
What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?
When we opened the business years ago I would have never imagined that it would grow as fast as it has. We have the best clients that constantly refer us to their friend and family- that is what is responsible for our success!
How does your business give back to the community?
We support local environmental efforts for clean water and air and we do our part by living green and making decisions that will provide a better future for our children. We also strive to support expecting and new mothers with access to valuable resources and community support which is so important during those beginning moments filled with so much doubt! ![]()
