Father's Day Weekend Forecast Goes 'Downhill' For Southern Connecticut
It looks like there will be another weekend with rain in it across Connecticut.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The weather will be better from Wednesday through Friday but the upcoming Father's Day weekend looks unsettled with rain showers forecast on both Saturday and Sunday.
Better weather for a few days
"As high pressure builds across the region midweek, we’ll get to enjoy ample sunshine as temperatures trend warmer. Today we’re topping out 80-85, then tomorrow is warmer by a couple of degrees (making it the warmest day of the week). Despite the trend above average (normal high is 79 for the Hartford Area), humidity levels remain low… so it will be comfortably warm! While fairly bright, and at times cloud-free, there are some indications that there could be a haze aloft compliments of the Canadian wildfires. Fortunately, it’s high enough in the atmosphere that there shouldn’t be any air quality issues," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists.

Father's Day weekend forecast takes a turn for the worse
"Unfortunately, the Saturday-Sunday timeframe has gone downhill. While we’re not expecting a washout either day, showers will be possible both days. As the front that moves through late in the week stalls to our south, waves of low-pressure ride along it that will keep our pattern unsettled. At one point, we were optimistically thinking high pressure moving from Eastern Canada over New England then offshore was going to suppress wet weather to our southwest… that no longer appears to be the case. Showers aside, temps will be running below average with highs over the weekend in the upper 60s and lower 70s," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists. (Read more at WFSB 3 TV).
