Tires, Rims Stolen From Several Vehicles In Milford: Police

Police shared several incidents across Milford, including unlocked vehicles being rifled through, and a business was burglarized.

Aug. 3

  • A Kia Sportage was stolen overnight on Plains Road, police said.

  • A man was charged on an active warrant stemming from a threatening incident on Aug. 3, police said.
  • A man was charged on an active warrant and is accused of failing to comply with the deadly weapon offender registry required, police said.
  • A man was found unresponsive at the Devon Motel, suffering from a suspected overdose. Police officers administered Narcan and CPR, and he was revived. He was taken to a local hospital for further treatment, police said.
  • Tires were stolen from a vehicle overnight in the lot of the Residence Inn, police said.
  • Tires and rims were stolen from a Honda Pilot overnight in the lot of the Residence Inn, police said.

  • An unlocked vehicle was rifled through on Point Beach Road, police said.
  • A Chevy Silverado was stolen overnight on 1120 New Haven Ave. It was later recovered in West Haven, police said.
  • A theft from an unlocked vehicle on Coolridge Road was reported, police said.
  • A woman who was charged on a warrant from an incident in June turned herself in, police said.
  • A man was found unresponsive on Cherry Street, suffering from a suspected overdose and fall. Police officers administered Narcan, and the man was revived. He was taken to a local hospital for further treatment, police said.

Aug. 5

  • A man and woman were charged following a domestic violence incident at Hyatt Place. The woman was also charged with interfering with an officer and two counts of assault on a police officer, police said.
  • Sunoco at 322 Old Gate Lane was burglarized. An investigation is ongoing, police said.
  • A vehicle was rifled through on 285 Seaside Avenue, police said.
  • A stolen Jeep from Stonington was recovered at 489 Bridgeport Ave, police said.
  • Theft from an unlocked vehicle on Robin Lane was reported, police said.
  • An attempted theft of a Kia Sportage parked on Willow Street was reported, police said.
