99-Unit Condo Complex Draws Concerns From Some Monroe Residents: Report

MONROE, CT — About 50 residents attended a land-use meeting Tuesday night to express a wide array of concerns over a developer's proposal to construct a 99-unit condo complex on 154-acres of land on Turkey Roost Road and Cobblers Hill Court, the Monroe Sun reported.
Concerns raised by residents included: traffic, impacts on town services including the school system and blasting. The proposal would preserve 81 acres of open space.
The application remains pending as no vote was taken.
