A Moose Hill Road woman reported seeing a newborn fawn laying in her yard late Wednesday morning. She snapped a photo of it, then saw its mother return to nurse it, according to Monroe Animal Control. Later, around 2:23 p.m., the fawn was strong enough to follow the doe back to the tree line. The Moose Hill Road homeowner took a photo of that too. Animal control shared both pictures for this story.
