A Temporary Home for the Monroe Tax Collector's Office

The installation of an elevator at Monroe Town Hall has led to a move for the tax office to room 212.

The installation of a new elevator at Monroe Town Hall has led to the temporary closing off of the Tax Collector's Office, but don't worry, you can still pay your taxes in person in Room 212. The office was just moved down the hall.

The elevator is part of the $4.1 million police station building project. The Monroe Police Department, which shares the same building as town hall, is downstairs — and soon only a one-floor elevator ride away.
