Monroe Volunteer EMS is offering an EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) class beginning on May 6, 2013 and ending on June 29. Classes will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:45 to 9:45 p.m. There will also be four Saturday classes on May 18, June 1, 15 and 29. Registration will be at the firehouse at 54 Jockey Hollow Road, which is also EMS headquarters, on Wednesday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m. For information on the class call call EMS Headquarters at 203-452-2826 (select option 4 from the menu). You must be 16 years old by July 1, 2013.
