John Babina Jr. shared a photo of a two-vehicle accident that took place on Monroe Turnpike at around 6 o'clock on Saturday night. Police said nobody was injured. According to the police report, a 17-year-old female driving a Jeep Cherokee south on Route 111 failed to stop for a red light at the intersection of Elm Street, where a man, 46, was crossing toward Trumbull in a Toyota MR2. Police said the jeep struck the Toyota on its rear-side panel. The teenager was issued an infraction for failure to obey a traffic control signal.
