The bell atop St. Peter's Episcopal Church and the steeple above Monroe Congregational Church that reaches into the sky are among the architectural features of these historic buildings that surround and beautify the Monroe Town Green on Route 111. These photos were taken on Friday afternoon as the snow continues to thaw. Church fairs also bring the green to life at different times of the year with Monroe Congregational's annual Strawberry Festival and St. Peter's Apple Festival.
