Francine Iacono Menillo, Longtime Monroe Resident, 58, Passed Away Peacefully
Francine was a self-employed nanny as well as a waitress at McGowan's Pizzaland in Monroe.
MONROE, CT — Francine Iacono Menillo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, July 18th, she was 58.
Francine was born in Ischia, Italy on April 23, 1958 to Immacolata Iacono and the late Michael Iacono. Francine was a graduate of Brien McMahon High School Class of 1976, and a long time resident of Monroe before moving to Stratford.
Francine was a self employed nanny and waitress at McGowan’s Pizzaland in Monroe. Francine leaves behind the three loves of her life, her children, Mark, Max and Nikki Menillo, their father Gary and his mother Elsie Menillo, her seven siblings; Sam Iacono, Marcella Iacono and her partner Keith, Anna Conte and her husband Luigi, Toni LaBonte and her husband Norman LaBonte, Bruno Iacono and his wife Lucy, Maria DiCarlo and her husband Peter and Valerie Iacono, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her loyal dog Jack. Besides her father, Francine was pre-deceased by her sister-in-law Linda Iacono and many aunts and uncles. Francine loved a good glass of chardonnay, a day in the sun and making friends wherever she went.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 23, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk with entombment following at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Menillo children.
