The Heat Advisory is in effect for Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and Hartford counties from late morning until Monday evening and people are urged to remain indoors as much as possible on Monday. If you work outdoors you’re urged to take frequent breaks and go into air conditioned places. The best chance for thunderstorms appears late Monday afternoon and up until midnight.
