Here's What's Open, Closed In Monroe On Thanksgiving Holiday
Monroe officials shared what offices are closed on Thanksgiving and a revised schedule for recycling, the landfill and transfer station.
MONROE, CT — The Monroe Town Hall Offices, Library, Highway Department, Senior Center and Food Pantry will have an early closing on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 2:30 PM. Offices will remain closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24, 2023 in observance of Thanksgiving.
The Garder Road Landfill and the Spring Hill Road Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2023 and open on Friday, November 24 and Saturday, November 25, 2023 at their normal business hours.
Thursday’s recycling will be picked up on Friday, November 24. All other customers will be picked up on their regular recycling day.
