MONROE, CT — Jockey Hollow Road was closed Wednesday due to a gas incident. Monroe Police announced via Twitter that a construction company hit a gas line which forced the closure of the road. Police, fire and Eversource responded to the scene. The road was closed for around five hours and re-opened to alternating traffic at around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. No injuries were reported.
