Masuk High Track to be Dedicated to Longtime Coach: Report

He has served for 90-plus seasons in five sports.

MONROE, CT — The track at Masuk High School will be dedicated to a devoted coach Tuesday night, reports the Monroe Courier. During a meet against Joel Barlow and Kolbe Cathedral, the track will be dedicated to Ed Butler, who has served as a head coach for 90-plus seasons of five different sports at the school.

Butler has coached Panthers to league titles in football, boys indoor track, girls indoor track and girls outdoor track. He has a total of 15 league championships on his resume.

Butler also served as a coach at Bunnell High School, winning league championships in cross country and track.
