Monroe Back-to-School Vaccination Clinics to be Held

Pencils? Check. Notebook paper? Double check. Up-to-date immunizations? Hmmm.... Check out when and where to get your kids' shots in Monroe.

MONROE, CT — The Town of Monroe announced that the Monroe Health Department will be holding vaccination clinics for school-age children at the Health Department in Town Hall, 7 Fan Hill Road. No appointments are necessary.

The clinics are for families who need to get their school-aged children the required immunizations. Parents of elementary, middle and high school students should check to see if their child's immunizations are current. Typical vaccines include tetanus, chicken pox, and mumps, measles and rubella.

Parents or guardians must accompany their child and bring the child's immunization record with them. There is a $20 administration fee for each vaccine received, to be paid by cash or check only, for those who qualify for the State's Vaccines for Children Program.
