Monroe Chamber of Commerce to Host Monthly "Lunch and Learn" Networking Events

The next event will be held at Jennie's Pizzeria on Sept. 16 from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and the guest speaker is Ileana Kotulich of Mary Kay.

In an effort to help foster business opportunities in the area, the Monroe Chamber of Commerce will host monthly “Lunch & Learn” networking events, open to all local business professionals throughout the year.

The next event will be held at Jennie’s Pizzeria on Sept. 16 from 12 to 1:30 p.m., according to a press release. The guest speaker is Ileana Kotulich of Mary Kay.

Kotulich’s presentation titled, “Communicating with Style,” will include an informative discussion on how to become more comfortable with your presentation skills to close business deals through effective communication, the relesae says. This presentation will further detail the DISC personality styles and explain how to apply techniques for identifying prospective client’s behaviors.

Kotulich has built her Mary Kay business over the past 19 years, and since 1996, her business has thrived on excellent customer service and impeccable communication strategies, the release says.

There is no charge to attend this event, but lunch will be available for individual purchase, the release says. Reservations are not necessary. This luncheon networking session is sponsored by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and will be held monthly on the third Wednesday of each month.
