Monroe Fireman's Carnival 2017: Details, Hours and More
The annual fireman's carnival begins Wednesday. Here is what you need to know.

The Monroe Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual carnival beginning July 5 through July 8.
The carnival will be held daily from 6-11 p.m.
The carnival is held at the intersection of Routes 110 and 111 at Fireman's Field. Stewart Amusements will be operating a large number of carnival rides and games including those for young children. Traditional carnival food and snacks will be on sale.
Parking and admission are free. Parking is available at the carnival grounds (enter on Moose Hill Road), near St. Jude’s Church on Route 111 and alongside the firehouse on Moose Hill Road. Handicap parking is available directly on the field.

In addition to individual ride tickets, the ride-all-night bracelets will also be on sale.
The carnival is held to raise funds for use by the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department.

Monroe volunteer firefighters first hosted a carnival in 1923 to raise funds to purchase their first fire truck, making this one of the oldest traditions in town. Monroe continues to be served only by volunteer firefighters.
