Monroe Man Charged With Selling Crack Cocaine Enters Plea

Breaking: Dwight Jarvis was charged with one count of cocaine distribution.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A local man plead guilty to a crack cocaine distribution charge in court Wednesday after waiving his right to be indicted, according to U.S. Attorney Deirdre M. Daly.

Dwight Jarvis, 28, was arrested on a criminal complaint on Dec. 16 after police found approximately 29 grams of cocaine, approximately 25 grams of crack cocaine, 70 dose bags of heroin, and other items used to process and package narcotics for street sale, according to the U.S. attorney's office.

Jarvis was released on a $100,000 bond pending sentencing. The offense carries a maximum prison term of 20 years.

Jarvis' arrest stems from an investigation by the DEA's high intensity drug trafficking area task force and the Milford police department.
