Monroe Man Stole Car, Possessed Steroids: Orange Police

The accused was given a $15,000 bond and faces several charges.

ORANGE, CT — A Monroe man has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle and Orange police say he was found in possession of anabolic steroids. At 5:44 p.m. on July 6, Orange police performed a routine traffic stop and discovered the vehicle's plate was reported stolen, police said.

Further investigation revealed the vehicle was also taken without the permission or knowledge of the owner, police said. Officers also discovered various illegal substances in the car, police said.

Michael J. Baker, 36, of Monroe was taken into custody and charged with first and sixth-degree larceny, three counts of possession of anabolic steroids, possession of a controlled substance Dextroamphetamine, use of drug paraphernalia, and motor vehicle offenses.

He was given a $15,000 bond.
